Dreaming Earth Podcast - Episode Two

Dear friends and fellow Dreamers,

Today we have a dream from the Elder Tree, a couple of Tarot cards, and a Waking Dream from me called the Tall White Flower. I hope you will immerse yourself in the imagery!

And finally here is the transcript for our Waking Dream today, for those of you who might want to do it again or share it.

The Tall White Flower

So close your eyes, and on the out breaths I want you to visualise first a 3, now a 2, and finally a 1, tall straight and bright.

See yourself in an empty street. You are stood outside a temple, and from within its walls you can see the top of a beautiful tall white flower. See the flower standing with ease and grace, pure white against the bright blue sky.

See that the temple door is slightly open, and go in. You are stood in a covered area which leads out into a walled garden. The floor is tiled, but it is full of woolly grey debris. Feel everything that is troubling you, and see and feel how it relates to the woolly grey debris all over the floor.

See a broom to your right, take it, and begin sweeping. Sweep the woolly grey debris into piles, and push it out of the open door with your broom. Push it out to the left, and watch it fly away. Go into all the corners, find the calm shape of the room, and see the pattern of the tiles appearing as you go.

When the tiled floor is completely clear, walk forward across its surface, out into the walled garden. See, smell and touch the different plants growing there, see rocks and small waterfalls. Walk towards the tall, pure white flower, and turn and lean against its strong stalk. Look up through its leaves and see the large white flower luminous and bright against the blue sky. Feel the body of the flower holding you, feel its strength, ease and grace filling you with its white light, flowing through you from your feet, up through your feet, legs, trunk, throat and head, down your arms and into your fingers. Feel the white light flowing through your heart space and lighting it up. Feel tall, strong, radiant and still. Know that you are the flower and the flower is you.

See yourself turning to thank the flower, and the garden, and walk back across the clear tiles to the door.

See yourself back in the street, you are tall and radiant and full of light. Know that you can come back.

Dreaming Earth Podcast - Episode One

Finally, here is the Waking Dream for todays episode, Children Come To Life.

Children Come To Life.

See yourself sat in a darkened bedroom, the curtains pulled shut over a large window. In front of the window see three life sized statues of children, their young faces dimly lit in the half light.

You are transfixed by them, and as you watch, you notice with surprise the tiniest movement, the shifting of a hand, and the awakening of a face. With amazement and excitement you see one of the children slowly yawn and stretch.

See and feel yourself rush to the window, and pull open the curtains. Bright sun lights streams in, over the children and over you. Feel the pink golden light flooding through you, and breath it in through your mouth and nose, feeling as it surges through every part of your body, down your neck, your chest, your arms, and up through your legs and stomach. You see and feel this beautiful light soak through your heart, it’s glowing brightly from your centre, pink and golden.

The children are excited and joyful, and together you run through the house, through the kitchen and out of the back door. You are in a colourful open woodland, the sky is blue, the trees are tall straight and strong, and beneath them are bright plants and small paths. You feel the breeze, the scent of the plants, and you can see and hear the birds and animals who live there. The pink golden light fills you and surrounds you. You feel the invitation of your new playground and run out into it with your friends.

Intro - Dreaming Earth Podcast

Dear friends and fellow Dreamers,

Here is the introduction to my new podcast - as promised for a while! I hope you love it, follow it and come along with me !

By the time you read this, you should be able to access and subscribe to the podcast on Apple and Spotify, as well as pick it up directly here on my website.

So…..This is a podcast about Dreaming. The spontaneous images that arise in our sleep, as well as those we experience in our waking life. We're going to explore the soulful encounters that we are being called to have in our Dreams, often with the less known parts of ourselves, and how these encounters relate to the rest of the animate world, and what that can mean for our lives, our communities and our planet.

Here is an image and a small video clip of Cotton Grass, from my trip to Uist in the Outer Hebrides, the birth place of the Dreaming Earth Podcast :)
